I’m not sure why I never tried the Tempeh Sausage recipe before from the New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook. It’s a good cookbook and I love the cornbread recipe from it. I picked up some English Muffin Bread and decided I wanted some “soysage” to go with it. I looked through a few of my cookbooks and this recipe fit the bill: I had all the ingredients on hand. It is pretty simple to put together and the patties held together. During the last minute of cooking, I added some Daiya Cheddar Cheese to top of each patty and covered the pan with foil. I lightly toasted the English Muffin Bread. It was a yummy and hearty breakfast. I used to make something similar with the Ezekiel English Muffins, but they became rather expensive so I rarely buy them anymore.
