Last night I made Buddha’ Delight for dinner. You can find the recipe in Vegetariana by Nava Atlas. It was delicious and I really liked the Basic Chinese Sauce used in this dish. The Basic Chinese Sauce recipe is also used in several other recipes in the book. I’ll have to try some of those other recipes! Rob got to choose the rice this time and he picked white basmati. One of these days he’ll eventually pick a brown rice!! I know it!!
Our Buddha’s Delight consisted of broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery, onions, red and green pepper, baby corn, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and the handful of snow peas that were left. I heaped on more vegetables after this picture was taken 😀
