Crafty Mother's Day Cards, Garden Dragonfly

Hi all. This week has been busy, busy, busy! Here’s a quick post of the nifty Mother’s Day cards I made for my mom, grandma, and godmother. I used a mixture of stickers and paper from my Provocraft Super Slabs along with some of my paper punches. My grandma loves purple so I made sure her card was full of purple! Above her name are three dragonflies that I punched out using my new mini-dragonfly paper punch.

Cards

Keeping with the dragonfly theme, here’s the latest addition to my patio garden. It’s suppose to glow in the dark but so far it hasn’t. It’s still cute either way, glowing or not. The wings are attached with springs so they move when the wind hits them. This purchase was an absolute impulse buy. 😀

Garden Dragonfly

I’ll be visiting blogs this weekend. I haven’t been doing much cooking. Our dishwasher isn’t working due to an electrical problem. It should be fixed this weekend. A week without a dishwasher has been miserable.

Hope you have a lovely day 😀

You are so crafty! I love the garden dragonfly. Is it supposed to soak up the sun all day so it can glow?

I think it’s sweet that you give your Godmother and Grandmother cards on Mother’s Day. I guess it’s quite common over here, but in the UK we only give cards to our own Mums. Mother’s Day is in March in the UK…but Father’s Day is the same day as here…weird!

Love the cards and the impulse garden decor. Hope your garden is doing well! Sometime when you drop by I’d love to know how your community garden plot works, we are considering offering spots to others in our community but have no clue how this might work. Things like cost, if you have rules, etc

Those cards are beautiful! I LOVE them. Looking forward to seeing future food posts too. Those pretzels below look pretty tempting. I think my daughter would love them.

I love the cards. Besides cooking, stamping is my other passion; I love cardmaking.

We have a dishwasher but never use it because I kind of like washing the dishes by hand.
