This strawberry pie uses 6 cups of strawberries! I used the graham cracker crust recipe from The Compassionate Cook Cookbook. The pie is held together using Clear Jel, which is a modified food starch (It's not genetically-modified to my knowledge). It works just like cornstarch but does not "weep" when put in the fridge. It costs about $6.50 to make one 9-inch pie.
