Thrift Store Find – Pyrex

I stopped at a Salvation Army Thrift Store yesterday and found a vintage primary blue Pyrex refrigerator dish for $2.11. It didn’t have the lid but it was in practically mint condition. I don’t think it was used much. I’m going to swap the lid from the dish I already had and put it on this one.

Pyrex

This has been a hectic week. I’ve only had limited time on the Internet. Will be visiting blogs and returning emails soon!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day πŸ˜€

I think my mom had that same loaf pan in a greenish color. What a great bargain.

That color is so vibrant. I traveled up the road and visited a antique flea market (their label) and they had the 4 nesting bowls that are red, yellow, green and that blue but they were a little too spendy for me.

Thanks for the kind words πŸ™‚ I got my sheets on clearance too, but I don’t use a comforter (I like two sheets) so I skipped on the duvet cover, but I did think it would look nice as a complete set!

Udandi, I know what you mean about the expensive prices on Pyrex mixing bowls. I’ve seen them at outrageous prices before. I do have a set but I’ve put mine together one at a time. I bought my blue one at the thrift store, my red one at an estate sale, and my yellow and green ones at an estate auction. In regards to the duvet cover, I like it but it is made of really heavy material. We only use it in the middle of winter. Otherwise, I’ll sweat to death in my sleep trying to use it with our regular comforter. LOL
