The recipe I use comes from the cookbook “Cooking with Peta.” The only exception is that I do not freeze the banana.
I use Trader Joe brand frozen fruit. In the smoothie pictured, I used TJ’s Four-Berry Blend. It’s a mix of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. You can use whatever frozen fruit you like. I also like making peach-mango smoothies. It’s a great recipe because you can easily change it to suit your tastes.
1 cup soymilk
1 medium banana, frozen, cut into chunks
1/2 cup frozen fruit (your choice)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Dash of cinnamon
Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
